A Recipe For Success

A suprising fact about SpiritBank, it employs some of the best cooks in Oklahoma, and one of the newest additions to the SpiritBank team, the Business Resource Center, is no exception.

The Business Resource Center, located at SpiritTower, 1800 S. Baltimore, was created to assist local entrepreneurs and small businesses by providing business consultation on everything from finances to strategic planning and marketing development, as well as organizing training programs and seminars especially designed for the small business owner.

Always a team player, the BRC Team volunteered for the new marketing campaign, featuring SpiritBank's employees and their favorite dishes.

"We had a lot of fun," said Elizabeth Skates, Business Development Officer.

"It really was a joint effort to create the dish, which is exactly what the BRC is all about."

In addition to cooking and basic consulting services, the BRC also offers a preferred partners program.

"This is a relatively new concept in banking," says Ted Cundiff, president
of the center.

"We are building a group of service providers that we feel is imperative to the success of a business owner," said Cundiff. Accountants, attorneys, business consultants, human relations consultants
and technicians are just a few of the service providers on our preferred partners list.

"We want to give our customers every tool possible to be successful"

The BRC monthly Business Solutions Series is another key tool for small business owners in Tulsa. Attendees have the opportunity to network with a host
of preferred partners as well as learn key skills to keep their businesses successful.

"We want to put nontraditional banking practices together so the small business person can come to us and ask about any issue they may have," said Cundiff.

The upcoming calendar includes sessions on employee training, health insurance, marketing and using the Internet for sales. For more information about the Business Solutions Series, please call (918)295-7223.

The BRC will also launch its own Web site in August at www.spiritbankbrc.com.

"We work hand-in-hand with our customers to better their business," said
Cundiff. "That's why SpiritBank's Business Resource Center offers so much more than traditional banking services."

"We've designed the BRC to be a onestop shop for the small business owner," says Cundiff.

"The center has the tools a small business owner needs to stay competitive and connected from loans and deposits to non-traditional services like our preferred partners services."

"And our spaghetti is pretty good, too," said Cundiff.
