Ring in the New and Shred the Old
(Oklahoma City, Okla.) -- SpiritBank and the non-profit organization The Meadows are partnering together for a community shred day. The free event will be held at the SpiritBank branch located at 11217 North May Avenue in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, January 27th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
“With consumer fraud and identity theft on the rise, we want to offer our customers and the community an opportunity to bring in their sensitive documents to be shredded in safe manner. We are pleased to partner with an organization like The Meadows to provide this service,” stated Rod Marso, SpiritBank President, Oklahoma City.
The Meadows, founded in 1983, provides sheltered employment and training for persons who may benefit from additional supports in securing and maintaining employment. The Meadows provides many services to the business community, including confidential document shredding.
Attendees are welcome to bring up to 10 boxes or 100 pounds of paper for shredding at no cost. Most papers can be shredded, including colored and stapled paper. Slick papers (magazines), newspapers, phone books and documents with oil/paint stains are unable to be destroyed at this event.
